The Wapato Showdown
Welcome to the 2024 Wapato Showdown
Established in 1997 it quickly became a major event in Oregon drawing cars from all over the Northwest and beyond. The event takes place at Brown Park in Gaston and the festivities run from Thursday till Saturday including the community night out Thursday nights held by the Gaston Parent Teacher Organization. Friday night we host the Good Ol Days Parade and the Sisters of Pythias host a Steak Feed. Saturday is the day of the car show with raffles and all day fun. All three nights have live music and beer gardens and this 3 day event is getting bigger and more involved with the community each year.
